RealVideoCreator Regional Privacy & Consumer Rights Addendum

Effective Date: August 6, 2026 Version: 1.0

This Regional Privacy & Consumer Rights Addendum ("Regional Addendum") supplements the RealVideoCreator Terms of Service, Global Privacy Policy, and, where applicable, the VoiceLab 18+ Consent, Biometric & Voice Data Notice, and Permitted Use.

RealVideoCreator and related services are provided by Real Labs Development ("Real Labs," "RealLabs," "we," "us," or "our").

This Regional Addendum describes additional privacy, data-protection, consumer, subscription, digital-service, and related rights that may apply based on your location.

The rights described in a particular regional section apply only to the extent that the relevant law applies to Real Labs or to the particular processing, transaction, or individual.

Nothing in this Regional Addendum limits a mandatory legal right that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted.

1. Relationship to Other RealVideoCreator Agreements

This Regional Addendum supplements:

  • The RealVideoCreator Terms of Service;
  • The RealVideoCreator Global Privacy Policy;
  • The VoiceLab 18+ Consent, Biometric & Voice Data Notice, and Permitted Use;
  • Checkout disclosures;
  • Subscription notices; and
  • Other legally required notices presented through RealVideoCreator.

The global documents remain applicable except where this Regional Addendum provides additional rights or where applicable local law requires a different result.

If a provision of another RealVideoCreator agreement conflicts with a mandatory right under applicable regional law, the mandatory regional rule controls to the extent of the conflict.

VoiceLab

Nothing in this Regional Addendum creates an exception to VoiceLab's eligibility or voice-use restrictions.

VoiceLab remains strictly 18+ and strictly self-voice only in every jurisdiction.

Another person's permission or consent never permits that person's voice to be submitted, enrolled, cloned, synthesized, processed, or generated through VoiceLab.

PART I — EUROPE

2. European Union and European Economic Area

This Section applies where the European Union General Data Protection Regulation ("EU GDPR"), applicable EEA privacy law, or applicable EU consumer law applies.

2.1 Controller

The controller is:

Real Labs Development 1043 Pinegrove Dr Holland, MI 49423 United States

Privacy contact:

legal@realvideocreator.com

2.2 GDPR Legal Bases

Depending on the processing, Real Labs may rely on:

  • Performance of a contract;
  • Consent;
  • Explicit consent where legally required;
  • Legitimate interests;
  • Compliance with legal obligations; or
  • Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims where permitted.

The applicable purposes and legal bases are described in the Global Privacy Policy.

VoiceLab may require express or explicit consent where applicable law requires such consent for covered voice, biometric, or sensitive processing.

2.3 EEA Privacy Rights

Where applicable, you may have rights including:

  • Confirmation that your personal data is being processed;
  • Access to personal data;
  • Correction of inaccurate data;
  • Completion of incomplete data;
  • Erasure;
  • Restriction of processing;
  • Data portability;
  • Objection to processing;
  • Withdrawal of consent;
  • Rights concerning qualifying automated decision-making; and
  • The right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

These rights may be subject to exceptions or limitations provided by law.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing lawfully performed before withdrawal.

If consent required for VoiceLab is withdrawn, VoiceLab may no longer be available because the feature cannot operate without the required processing.

2.4 Objection to Legitimate-Interest Processing

Where Real Labs relies on legitimate interests and the EU GDPR provides a right to object, you may object based on circumstances relating to your particular situation.

Real Labs will evaluate the objection and cease the processing where legally required.

2.5 Automated Decisions

Real Labs does not currently use VoiceLab to make decisions concerning employment, AI usage, insurance, housing, education, government benefits, or legal identity.

Where Real Labs engages in solely automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects and EU law provides applicable rights, Real Labs will provide the disclosures, safeguards, and opportunities for human involvement required by law.

2.6 International Transfers

Real Labs is established in the United States.

Where personal data subject to EU GDPR transfer restrictions is transferred outside the EEA, Real Labs will use a lawful transfer mechanism where required, which may include:

  • A European Commission adequacy decision;
  • European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses;
  • Other appropriate safeguards recognized by Articles 46 or 47 of the GDPR; or
  • A legally available derogation where applicable.

Where legally required, Real Labs will assess the circumstances of the transfer and implement supplementary contractual, technical, or organizational safeguards.

You may contact legal@realvideocreator.com for additional information concerning applicable safeguards and how to obtain information about applicable contractual protections, subject to legitimate confidentiality restrictions.

2.8 Supervisory Authority

You may have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority responsible for your country or place of residence, employment, or the alleged infringement.

You are not required to contact Real Labs before exercising a legal right to complain directly to a supervisory authority.

2.9 Consumer Withdrawal Rights

Where applicable EU consumer law provides a withdrawal right for a distance contract, an eligible consumer generally has fourteen (14) days to withdraw from an eligible service contract, subject to applicable exceptions.

Where you request that performance begin during the withdrawal period, applicable law may permit a proportionate charge for service already supplied.

For qualifying digital content, a statutory withdrawal right may be lost after performance begins only where the legally required consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.

Real Labs will not rely on contractual no-refund language to eliminate a mandatory EU withdrawal, conformity, refund, price-reduction, repair, replacement, or termination right.

2.10 Digital Content and Services

Where applicable EU law provides mandatory rights concerning digital content or digital services, those rights remain unaffected.

This may include applicable rights concerning:

  • Conformity;
  • Functionality;
  • Compatibility;
  • Updates;
  • Remedies for non-conformity;
  • Price reduction;
  • Contract termination; or
  • Refunds.

3. United Kingdom

This Section applies where the UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018 as amended, applicable UK data-protection law, or applicable UK consumer law applies.

3.1 UK Privacy Rights

Where applicable, you may have rights including:

  • To be informed;
  • Access;
  • Rectification;
  • Erasure;
  • Restriction;
  • Data portability;
  • Objection;
  • Withdrawal of consent; and
  • Rights relating to qualifying automated decision-making.

Rights may be subject to statutory exceptions.

3.2 International Transfers

Where a transfer is restricted under UK data-protection law, Real Labs may use an applicable lawful safeguard including:

  • UK adequacy regulations;
  • The International Data Transfer Agreement ("IDTA");
  • The UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses;
  • Another approved safeguard; or
  • A legally available exception.

Real Labs will perform any transfer assessment or other safeguard analysis required by applicable UK law.

3.4 Complaints

Where applicable, you may complain to the United Kingdom Information Commissioner's Office ("ICO").

Nothing in RealVideoCreator's internal complaint process prevents you from exercising a legal right to contact the ICO.

3.5 Consumer Cancellation Rights

Eligible UK consumers retain cancellation, refund, digital-content, statutory-quality, and other mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.

Where applicable law requires express consent to begin digital performance during a statutory cancellation period, Real Labs will request the legally required consent or acknowledgement.

Future UK subscription-specific requirements will apply when and to the extent they legally take effect and apply to RealVideoCreator.

4. Switzerland

Where Switzerland's Federal Act on Data Protection ("FADP") applies, Real Labs will process personal data in accordance with applicable Swiss requirements.

4.1 Swiss Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights concerning:

  • Information about processing;
  • Access;
  • Correction;
  • Deletion or destruction where applicable;
  • Objection or cessation of certain processing;
  • Data portability where applicable; and
  • Other remedies provided by the FADP.

4.2 International Transfers

Where Swiss law restricts international disclosure, Real Labs will use an applicable mechanism recognized under Swiss law.

This may include:

  • Transfer to a jurisdiction recognized as providing adequate protection;
  • Recognized standard contractual clauses;
  • Contractual safeguards;
  • Another lawful safeguard; or
  • An applicable statutory exception.

Where European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses are used for Swiss data, Real Labs will make any legally required Swiss adaptations.

4.4 Swiss Authority

Where applicable, individuals may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner concerning rights under Swiss data-protection law.

PART II — CANADA AND LATIN AMERICA

5. Canada

This Section applies to the extent Canadian federal or provincial private-sector privacy law applies to Real Labs.

5.1 Canadian Privacy Principles

Real Labs will apply applicable requirements concerning:

  • Accountability;
  • Appropriate purposes;
  • Meaningful consent;
  • Collection limitation;
  • Use and disclosure limitation;
  • Retention;
  • Accuracy;
  • Safeguards;
  • Transparency;
  • Individual access; and
  • Complaint handling.

5.2 Sensitive and Voice Information

Voice recordings and derived technical information may constitute sensitive information depending on the processing and applicable Canadian law.

Where express consent is the appropriate or legally required form of consent, VoiceLab requires an affirmative consent process before enrollment.

Consent to the general RealVideoCreator Privacy Policy alone is not intended to substitute for the separate VoiceLab consent process.

5.3 Canadian Access and Correction

Where applicable law provides these rights, Canadian users may request:

  • Access to personal information;
  • Information concerning use and disclosure;
  • Correction of inaccurate information; and
  • Other rights provided by applicable federal or provincial law.

5.4 Service Providers Outside Canada

Personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries used by authorized providers.

Where required by Canadian law, Real Labs remains accountable for information transferred to service providers and uses contractual, organizational, and security protections appropriate to the information.

5.5 Provincial Rights

Certain provinces, including Québec and other jurisdictions with applicable private-sector privacy legislation, may provide additional rights or impose additional obligations.

Real Labs will honor those rights where applicable.

5.6 Complaints

Canadian users may contact:

legal@realvideocreator.com

Where applicable, individuals may also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the applicable provincial privacy authority.

5.7 Consumer Rights

Nothing in the RealVideoCreator Terms eliminates mandatory consumer rights created by applicable Canadian federal or provincial law.

Subscription, cancellation, renewal, disclosure, and refund requirements may differ by province and will be honored where applicable.

6. Brazil

This Section applies where Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais ("LGPD") or applicable Brazilian consumer law applies.

6.1 Controller

Real Labs acts as controller where it determines the purposes and essential means of covered processing.

Privacy requests may be submitted to:

legal@realvideocreator.com

6.2 LGPD Rights

Where applicable, Brazilian data subjects may have rights including:

  • Confirmation of processing;
  • Access;
  • Correction;
  • Anonymization;
  • Blocking;
  • Deletion;
  • Portability where applicable;
  • Information regarding shared use;
  • Information about consequences of withholding consent;
  • Withdrawal of consent;
  • Objection where applicable; and
  • Review of qualifying automated decisions.

Rights may be subject to applicable statutory requirements and exceptions.

6.3 Sensitive Personal Data

Certain VoiceLab information may qualify as sensitive personal data under the LGPD where the statutory definition applies.

VoiceLab uses a separate affirmative-consent architecture for voice processing.

6.4 International Transfers

Where LGPD international-transfer restrictions apply, Real Labs will use a transfer mechanism permitted under Brazilian law and applicable ANPD regulations.

This may include:

  • An applicable adequacy mechanism;
  • ANPD-approved or recognized standard contractual mechanisms;
  • Specific contractual safeguards where legally available;
  • Binding corporate mechanisms where applicable;
  • Statutory transfer grounds; or
  • Another lawful mechanism.

6.5 Encarregado / Privacy Contact

Real Labs' current general privacy channel is:

legal@realvideocreator.com

Where Brazilian law requires Real Labs to formally identify an encarregado or other designated privacy contact, the required information will be published through the Global Privacy Policy or RealVideoCreator legal pages.

6.6 ANPD Complaints

Where applicable, Brazilian data subjects may exercise rights before the Brazilian National Data Protection Authority ("ANPD") in accordance with applicable law.

6.7 Seven-Day Consumer Withdrawal

Where Article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Defense Code applies to a qualifying distance transaction, an eligible consumer may exercise the statutory withdrawal right within the legally applicable seven-day period.

Real Labs will provide refunds required by applicable Brazilian law for valid exercises of that right.

Nothing in RealVideoCreator's ordinary refund policy overrides that statutory protection.

PART III — AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

7. Australia

This Section applies where the Australian Privacy Act, Australian Privacy Principles ("APPs"), Australian Consumer Law, or another applicable Australian requirement applies.

7.1 Australian Privacy Rights

Where applicable, individuals may request:

  • Access to personal information;
  • Correction of personal information; and
  • Review of a privacy complaint.

Real Labs will respond in accordance with applicable Australian requirements.

7.2 Overseas Processing

Real Labs is established in the United States.

Australian personal information may therefore be disclosed or otherwise processed in the United States.

Additional countries used by material cloud, infrastructure, AI, payment, authentication, or other providers will be identified through Real Labs' privacy documentation or Subprocessor & Transfer Locations information where required and practicable.

Before a covered disclosure to an overseas recipient, Real Labs will take the steps required under applicable Australian law.

7.3 Privacy Complaints

Australian users may submit complaints to:

legal@realvideocreator.com

Where legally applicable, users may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner ("OAIC").

7.4 Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in the RealVideoCreator Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a consumer guarantee, right, remedy, or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

This includes applicable statutory guarantees concerning services and digital products.

7.5 Unfair Contract Terms

Real Labs does not intend any provision of its consumer or eligible small-business agreements to operate in a manner prohibited by applicable Australian unfair-contract-term laws.

A unilateral modification, suspension, cancellation, refund, or limitation provision applies only to the extent legally enforceable.

8. New Zealand

This Section applies where New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 or applicable New Zealand consumer law applies.

8.1 New Zealand Privacy Rights

Where applicable, individuals may have rights concerning:

  • Collection notice;
  • Access;
  • Correction;
  • Appropriate use and disclosure;
  • Security; and
  • Other protections under New Zealand's information privacy principles.

8.2 Indirect Collection

Where Real Labs obtains personal information from another source and New Zealand law requires notice to the individual, Real Labs will provide the legally required notice unless an applicable exception applies.

8.3 Overseas Disclosure

Where Information Privacy Principle 12 applies to an overseas disclosure, Real Labs will use a lawful mechanism designed to provide the safeguards required by New Zealand law.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • A recipient subject to applicable New Zealand privacy law;
  • Comparable foreign privacy protection;
  • Contractual safeguards;
  • A prescribed binding mechanism;
  • Informed authorization where legally permitted; or
  • Another applicable legal basis.

8.4 Complaints

New Zealand users may contact:

legal@realvideocreator.com

Users may also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of New Zealand.

8.5 Consumer Rights

Nothing in RealVideoCreator's Terms excludes rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, Fair Trading Act, or other mandatory consumer law where those laws apply.

PART IV — ASIA

9. India

This Section applies where India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act ("DPDP Act"), applicable implementing rules, or other applicable Indian privacy law is legally in force and applies to Real Labs.

9.1 Indian Data Rights

Real Labs will provide rights and processes required by provisions of Indian data-protection law that are legally effective and applicable to RealVideoCreator.

This may include applicable rights concerning:

  • Access to information about processing;
  • Correction;
  • Updating;
  • Erasure;
  • Withdrawal of consent;
  • Grievance redress; and
  • Nomination or other statutory rights where applicable.

9.2 Consent

Where consent is relied upon, Real Labs will use a consent process intended to be specific and informed and will provide a mechanism for withdrawal as required by applicable law.

9.3 Children

VoiceLab remains strictly 18+.

If Indian law defines a child as a person under eighteen for applicable data-processing requirements, Real Labs will apply applicable requirements to non-VoiceLab services.

Nothing in any parental-consent mechanism permits a person under eighteen to use VoiceLab.

9.4 Grievance Contact

Indian privacy requests or grievances may be submitted to:

legal@realvideocreator.com

Where applicable law requires a specifically designated contact, additional information will be published through the RealVideoCreator legal pages.

10. Japan

This Section applies where Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information ("APPI") applies.

10.1 APPI Processing

Real Labs will process covered personal information in accordance with applicable APPI requirements concerning:

  • Specified purposes of use;
  • Appropriate collection and use;
  • Security;
  • Third-party disclosure;
  • Retention;
  • Cross-border provision; and
  • Individual rights.

10.2 Individual Requests

Where applicable law provides the relevant right, individuals in Japan may request:

  • Disclosure of retained personal data;
  • Correction;
  • Addition;
  • Deletion;
  • Cessation of use;
  • Cessation of third-party provision; or
  • Other relief provided by the APPI.

10.3 Cross-Border Transfers

Where APPI requires consent or another legal condition before personal data is provided to a third party outside Japan, Real Labs will use the legally applicable mechanism.

Where consent is the relied-upon mechanism, required information concerning the foreign recipient or applicable protection framework will be provided as required by law.

10.4 Japan Privacy Contact

Requests may be submitted to:

legal@realvideocreator.com

Individuals may also have rights to contact Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission where applicable.

11. Singapore

This Section applies where Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act ("PDPA") applies.

11.1 Singapore Data-Protection Obligations

Where applicable, Real Labs will comply with legal requirements relating to:

  • Notification;
  • Consent;
  • Purpose limitation;
  • Access;
  • Correction;
  • Accuracy;
  • Protection;
  • Retention limitation;
  • International transfer;
  • Accountability; and
  • Breach notification.

11.2 Access and Correction

Where applicable, individuals may request access to personal data held by Real Labs and correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data, subject to applicable exceptions.

11.3 Withdrawal of Consent

Where processing is based on consent and Singapore law provides a right to withdraw consent, an individual may withdraw consent with reasonable notice.

Real Labs will inform the individual of applicable consequences where required.

Withdrawal of consent necessary for VoiceLab processing will ordinarily require VoiceLab to be disabled.

11.4 International Transfers

Where Singapore's transfer-limitation requirements apply, Real Labs will use measures designed to ensure a standard of protection comparable to the protection required by the PDPA, unless an applicable exception applies.

11.5 Singapore Privacy Contact

Privacy requests may be submitted to:

legal@realvideocreator.com

Where applicable law requires Real Labs to formally designate and publish a Data Protection Officer contact, the applicable contact information will be maintained through the Privacy Policy or legal pages.

PART V — UNITED STATES

12. United States — General

Privacy and consumer-protection laws vary by state.

This Section applies only where a particular state law applies to Real Labs based on its scope, thresholds, the processing involved, and the individual's relationship to Real Labs.

Real Labs does not intend this Addendum to imply that every state privacy statute applies to Real Labs regardless of statutory thresholds.

Where applicable, Real Labs will provide the rights required by the relevant state law.

13. California

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended ("CCPA"), applies, California residents may have rights including:

  • The right to know;
  • The right to access;
  • The right to delete;
  • The right to correct;
  • The right to opt out of covered sale or sharing;
  • The right to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable;
  • The right to use an authorized agent; and
  • The right not to receive unlawful discriminatory treatment for exercising protected rights.

The categories of personal information processed, sources, purposes, disclosures, and retention criteria are described in the Global Privacy Policy.

Sale and Sharing

As of the effective date of this Addendum:

Real Labs does not sell personal information.

Real Labs does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

If those practices change, Real Labs will provide any notice and opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law.

Universal Opt-Out Signals

Where applicable California law requires recognition of a legally valid browser or device preference signal for covered processing, Real Labs will honor the signal as required by law.

14. Colorado and Other U.S. Comprehensive Privacy States

Where the Colorado Privacy Act or another applicable state comprehensive privacy law applies, individuals may have rights such as:

  • Confirmation of processing;
  • Access;
  • Correction;
  • Deletion;
  • Data portability;
  • Opt-out of covered sale;
  • Opt-out of targeted advertising;
  • Opt-out of certain profiling;
  • Consent rights concerning sensitive information; and
  • Appeal of certain denied rights requests.

The exact rights differ by state.

Real Labs will apply the rights and response procedures required by the law applicable to the individual.

Universal Opt-Out Mechanisms

Where applicable law requires Real Labs to recognize a qualifying universal opt-out mechanism, including Global Privacy Control where legally recognized for covered processing, Real Labs will honor the mechanism as required.

Because Real Labs currently states that it does not sell personal information or use personal information for targeted advertising across unrelated services, such signals may not change processing where no covered sale or targeted-advertising activity is occurring.

15. Illinois and U.S. Biometric Laws

VoiceLab may process voice information that may fall within a state biometric law depending on the technical characteristics, purpose, use, and applicable statutory definition.

Where Illinois' Biometric Information Privacy Act ("BIPA") applies to covered VoiceLab information, Real Labs will apply applicable requirements concerning:

  • Notice;
  • Purpose disclosure;
  • Term or retention disclosure;
  • Written or electronic release;
  • Retention and destruction;
  • Disclosure restrictions;
  • Sale or profit restrictions; and
  • Reasonable protection of covered biometric information.

The current VoiceLab 18+ Consent, Biometric & Voice Data Notice, and Permitted Use contains Real Labs' VoiceLab retention schedule and destruction guidelines.

For covered BIPA information, the policy provides for destruction when the initial purpose has been satisfied or within three years after the individual's last interaction with Real Labs, whichever occurs first, subject to applicable law.

Other state or local biometric laws will be honored where applicable.

Self-voice only does not eliminate statutory biometric rights.

16. U.S. Subscription and Automatic-Renewal Rights

Where applicable U.S. federal or state law imposes requirements concerning automatically renewing subscriptions or continuous-service arrangements, Real Labs will provide the disclosures, consent, confirmation, reminder, cancellation, or other procedures required by the applicable law.

This may include requirements relating to:

  • Clear disclosure of recurring terms;
  • Express affirmative consent;
  • Renewal pricing;
  • Promotional conversions;
  • Renewal reminders;
  • Accessible online cancellation; or
  • Confirmation of cancellation.

Nothing in the RealVideoCreator Terms eliminates a mandatory state automatic-renewal right.

PART VI — GLOBAL VOICELAB REGIONAL RULE

17. Regional VoiceLab Protections

The following rules apply to VoiceLab regardless of region.

17.1 18+ Only

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to:

  • Record;
  • Upload;
  • Enroll;
  • Clone;
  • Synthesize;
  • Process; or
  • Generate

using VoiceLab.

There is no parental, guardian, employer, spouse, customer, account-owner, or other exception.

17.2 Self-Voice Only

You may use only your own voice.

You may never submit, upload, enroll, clone, synthesize, imitate, process, or generate another person's voice through VoiceLab.

17.3 Permission Does Not Create an Exception

Another person's:

  • Permission;
  • Consent;
  • Written authorization;
  • Release;
  • Employment agreement;
  • Contractor agreement;
  • Customer agreement;
  • Family relationship; or
  • Other authorization

does not permit you to use that person's voice through VoiceLab.

17.4 Regional Privacy Protections

Where VoiceLab information qualifies as:

  • Biometric information;
  • A biometric identifier;
  • Biometric data;
  • Sensitive personal information;
  • Special-category personal data; or
  • Another protected category,

Real Labs will apply the applicable notice, consent, security, purpose-limitation, retention, destruction, transfer, or individual-rights requirements.

17.5 No Reduction of Local Rights

The VoiceLab consent process creates obligations in addition to, not instead of, rights granted by applicable law.

PART VII — EXERCISING REGIONAL RIGHTS

18. How to Submit a Request

Privacy, data-protection, biometric, deletion, correction, access, portability, consent-withdrawal, objection, appeal, or other regional privacy requests may be submitted to:

legal@realvideocreator.com

You may also use privacy or account controls provided through RealVideoCreator.

Please identify:

  • The right you wish to exercise;
  • The applicable account where relevant; and
  • Enough information for Real Labs to understand and process the request.

Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

19. Identity Verification

Real Labs may verify your identity before fulfilling a rights request where reasonable or legally required.

Verification may be particularly important for requests involving:

  • Account access;
  • VoiceLab information;
  • Voice recordings;
  • Biometric information;
  • Transaction records;
  • Deletion; or
  • Sensitive information.

Real Labs will seek only the information reasonably necessary for verification.

20. Authorized Representatives

Where applicable law permits an authorized agent or representative to exercise rights on your behalf, Real Labs will accept qualifying requests in accordance with applicable law.

We may request:

  • Evidence of the representative's authority; and
  • Direct verification of the individual where legally permitted.

21. Response Periods

Real Labs will respond to privacy-rights requests within the time required by applicable law.

Response periods differ by jurisdiction.

Where legally permitted, Real Labs may extend a response period when reasonably necessary and will provide any required notice concerning the extension.

22. Appeals

Where applicable law provides a right to appeal a denied privacy request, Real Labs will provide an appeal process and information concerning how to submit the appeal.

A denial or partial denial will include the legally required explanation.

23. Fees

Real Labs ordinarily does not charge a fee for exercising a privacy right.

A reasonable fee may be charged only where applicable law permits one, including circumstances involving requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, repetitive, or otherwise subject to a lawful fee.

24. Complaints to Regulators

Nothing in RealVideoCreator's internal privacy process requires you to surrender a legal right to contact a competent:

  • Data-protection authority;
  • Privacy commissioner;
  • Supervisory authority;
  • Attorney general;
  • Consumer-protection authority; or
  • Other regulator.

Where applicable law permits direct regulatory complaints, you may exercise that right.

PART VIII — GENERAL PROVISIONS

25. No Unlawful Waiver

No RealVideoCreator contract, consent screen, checkout, Privacy Policy, VoiceLab notice, or other agreement will be interpreted to waive a right that applicable law does not permit an individual to waive.

26. No Retaliation or Unlawful Discrimination

Real Labs will not unlawfully discriminate against or retaliate against an individual for exercising a legally protected privacy or consumer right.

A service may necessarily become unavailable when information required to provide that service is deleted or when required consent is withdrawn.

For example, VoiceLab cannot operate after processing consent necessary to maintain a voice profile is withdrawn.

Such a functional consequence is not intended as retaliation.

27. Conflicts

If this Regional Addendum provides greater protection than a general RealVideoCreator provision, this Addendum applies to the extent required for individuals covered by the applicable regional law.

If applicable law requires greater protection than this Regional Addendum provides, the applicable law controls.

28. Countries Not Specifically Listed

RealVideoCreator may be available in jurisdictions that do not have a dedicated section in this Addendum.

The absence of a country-specific section does not waive rights provided by applicable law.

Where another jurisdiction grants mandatory:

  • Privacy rights;
  • Data-protection rights;
  • Consumer guarantees;
  • Subscription rights;
  • Cooling-off rights;
  • Biometric protections;
  • AI-transparency protections; or
  • Other non-waivable protections,

Real Labs will apply those requirements where legally applicable.

Real Labs may add additional regional sections as RealVideoCreator expands or applicable law changes.

29. Changes to this Regional Addendum

Real Labs may update this Regional Addendum prospectively because of:

  • Changes in law;
  • New jurisdictions;
  • Regulatory guidance;
  • Changes in RealVideoCreator;
  • Changes in VoiceLab;
  • New privacy rights;
  • New consumer requirements;
  • New international-transfer rules; or
  • Changes in service providers.

The current version will display a new effective date and version number.

Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent before a material change applies, Real Labs will provide that notice or obtain that consent.
