RealVideoCreator Cookie & Tracking Technologies Notice

This Cookie & Tracking Technologies Notice ("Cookie Notice") explains how Real Labs Development ("Real Labs," "RealLabs," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies, browser storage, security technologies, authentication technologies, and similar storage or access technologies in connection with RealVideoCreator.

This Cookie Notice supplements the:

• RealVideoCreator Global Privacy Policy;
• RealVideoCreator Terms of Service;
• Regional Privacy & Consumer Rights Addendum;
• Service Providers, Subprocessors & Transfer Locations page; and
• VoiceLab 18+ Consent, Biometric & Voice Data Notice, and Permitted Use.

RealVideoCreator currently uses a limited tracking architecture focused primarily on:

• Authentication;
• Session management;
• Security;
• CSRF protection;
• Bot and abuse prevention;
• User-requested Google authentication; and
• Essential service preferences.

As of the Effective Date:

RealVideoCreator does not use advertising cookies.

RealVideoCreator does not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising.

RealVideoCreator does not currently use a confirmed third-party behavioral analytics platform such as Google Analytics, Segment, Meta Pixel, or similar advertising or cross-site tracking technology.

If these practices materially change, Real Labs will update this notice and implement any consent, rejection, opt-out, or preference controls required by applicable law before activating the applicable technology.

1. What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of information that a website or online service stores on or accesses from a browser or device.

Cookies may be used for purposes such as:

• Maintaining a login session;
• Authenticating a user;
• Remembering preferences;
• Preventing fraud;
• Protecting forms;
• Maintaining security;
• Detecting automated traffic; or
• Measuring or personalizing online activity.

Some cookies last only for a browser session.

Others may remain on the device for a specified period or until deleted.

2. Similar Technologies

This notice also applies to technologies that perform functions similar to cookies.

Depending on RealVideoCreator functionality, these may include:

• Browser local storage;
• Session storage;
• Security AI usage;
• Authentication AI usage;
• CSRF AI usage;
• Device or browser signals;
• Embedded scripts;
• Challenge-response technologies;
• Similar browser storage or access mechanisms; and
• Other technologies that store information on or access information from a user's device.

The legal rules applying to these technologies may be similar to the rules applying to traditional cookies.

3. Cookie Categories Used by RealVideoCreator

RealVideoCreator currently uses or may use the categories described below.

3.1 Strictly Necessary and Essential Technologies

These technologies are used where reasonably necessary to operate functionality requested by the user or protect the service.

They may support:

• Login;
• Authentication;
• Session continuity;
• Account security;
• CSRF protection;
• Checkout;
• Subscription management;
• Fraud prevention;
• Bot protection;
• Form security;
• Service integrity; and
• Other essential functionality.

Where applicable law permits storage or access that is strictly necessary to provide a user-requested service without prior consent, Real Labs may rely on that exception.

Real Labs still provides information about these technologies through this Cookie Notice.

3.2 Authentication Technologies

RealVideoCreator uses authentication technologies to determine whether a user is logged in and authorized to access an account.

These technologies may include:

• First-party session cookies;
• Authentication AI usage;
• Security AI usage;
• Session storage; and
• Related server-side session identifiers.

Authentication information is used to:

• Keep authenticated users signed in;
• Protect account access;
• Associate requests with the correct authenticated session;
• Prevent unauthorized account access; and
• Maintain secure account functionality.

3.3 CSRF and Form-Security Technologies

RealVideoCreator uses protections designed to reduce cross-site request forgery and related attacks.

These protections may use:

• CSRF cookies;
• Security AI usage;
• Form AI usage;
• Request headers; or
• Related server-side validation mechanisms.

These technologies are intended to verify that sensitive requests are associated with legitimate RealVideoCreator interactions.

They are used for security rather than advertising or behavioral profiling.

4. First-Party RealVideoCreator Cookies

RealVideoCreator's Django-based application may use first-party cookies or equivalent technologies for purposes such as:

• Authenticated sessions;
• CSRF protection;
• Security;
• Service preferences; and
• Other necessary application functionality.

The exact technical cookie name may depend on the current RealVideoCreator production configuration.

Examples of functions commonly performed by the application include:

Real Labs should maintain the exact current cookie names and expiration periods through an internal production cookie inventory.

Where those technical identifiers are stable and verified, Real Labs may publish them through this page or through the cookie-preference interface.

5. Cloudflare Turnstile

RealVideoCreator uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot detection, abuse prevention, form security, and related security purposes.

• Protect login or other forms;
• Prevent abusive automated requests; and
• Protect RealVideoCreator infrastructure.

Depending on Cloudflare's technology and Real Labs' configuration, Turnstile may process technical information such as:

• IP address;
• Browser information;
• User agent;
• Device or browser characteristics;
• Security signals;
• Request information;
• Challenge information;
• Challenge AI usage;
• Approximate source country; and
• Other technical signals used to distinguish legitimate traffic from automated activity.

Turnstile AI usage

Ordinary Turnstile operation may generate a short-lived challenge AI usage that RealVideoCreator validates with Cloudflare.

This AI usage is used for security verification.

cf_clearance

If Real Labs enables Cloudflare Turnstile pre-clearance or another applicable Cloudflare challenge configuration, Cloudflare may issue a cookie commonly identified as:

cf_clearance

The cf_clearance cookie indicates that a visitor or device has successfully completed applicable Cloudflare security verification and may allow the visitor to avoid repeated security challenges during its configured lifetime.

Real Labs does not represent that cf_clearance is used on every RealVideoCreator visit.

Its use depends on the Cloudflare configuration in effect.

Purpose Classification

Real Labs uses Turnstile for security and bot-prevention purposes and not for behavioral advertising.

Where applicable law recognizes a strictly necessary or security-related storage/access exception, Real Labs may rely on that exception for the applicable security processing.

6. Google OAuth / Google Sign-In

RealVideoCreator offers Google OAuth or Google Sign-In as an authentication option.

Google authentication may be used to:

• Sign into RealVideoCreator;
• Create or link an authenticated account;
• Confirm a Google account identity;
• Maintain authentication security; and
• Support user-requested login functionality.

Information Potentially Processed

Depending on the permissions and configuration, Google may process:

• Google account identifier;
• Email address;
• Name;
• Basic profile information;
• Authentication AI usage;
• Browser information;
• Security information; and
• Related login information.

Google Cookies and Browser Storage

When you interact with Google's authentication services, Google may use cookies or similar technologies on Google-controlled domains or through Google authentication components.

Those technologies are governed in part by Google's own privacy and cookie practices.

Real Labs does not use Google OAuth for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Google authentication is activated for the purpose of providing the login method requested by the user.

Where applicable law requires separate consent for a particular Google storage or access technology, Real Labs will implement the applicable consent mechanism before using that technology where required.

7. Google Workspace / Gmail

Real Labs uses Google Workspace / Gmail infrastructure for transactional and service-related email.

This may include:

• Account messages;
• Transaction confirmations;
• Security notifications;
• Subscription notices;
• Legal notices;
• Support communications; and
• Other transactional communications.

Receiving an email through Gmail does not by itself mean RealVideoCreator places a Google advertising cookie on your browser.

If an email technology later introduces tracking pixels, engagement measurement, or another storage/access technology that requires additional disclosure or consent, Real Labs will update this notice before relying on such technology where legally required.

Real Labs does not currently describe transactional email as behavioral advertising.

8. PayPal

RealVideoCreator uses PayPal for:

• Checkout;
• Subscription payments;
• Recurring billing;
• Refunds;
• Payment disputes; and
• Related financial transactions.

When you interact with PayPal checkout or another PayPal-controlled payment interface, PayPal may use cookies, browser storage, fraud-prevention signals, or similar technologies under PayPal's own privacy and cookie practices.

These technologies may support:

• Payment security;
• Fraud prevention;
• Authentication;
• Transaction processing;
• Risk analysis; and
• PayPal account functionality.

Real Labs does not control all cookies or similar technologies placed directly by PayPal on PayPal-controlled pages or interfaces.

PayPal may act independently with respect to portions of its payment and fraud-prevention processing.

9. Technologies We Do Not Currently Use

As of the Last Verified date, Real Labs does not currently identify the following as active RealVideoCreator tracking technologies:

• Google Analytics;
• Meta Pixel / Facebook Pixel;
• TikTok Pixel;
• LinkedIn Insight Tag;
• X/Twitter advertising pixels;
• Segment behavioral analytics;
• Advertising retargeting cookies;
• Cross-site behavioral advertising cookies;
• Third-party ad-network cookies;
• Personalized advertising cookies; or
• Confirmed Sentry, Datadog, or Better Stack browser tracking.

These providers or technologies should not be treated as active merely because Real Labs may have:

• Evaluated them;
• Created an account;
• Installed unrelated software;
• Maintained dormant integration code; or
• Considered future use.

If Real Labs activates a technology that requires disclosure or consent, this Cookie Notice and the applicable preference controls will be updated.

10. Analytics

Real Labs may use its own server-side operational information for purposes such as:

• Security;
• Error diagnosis;
• Request monitoring;
• Service performance;
• Capacity management;
• Fraud prevention; and
• Troubleshooting.

Server-side application logs are not automatically the same as browser cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.

As of the Effective Date, Real Labs does not identify a confirmed third-party behavioral website analytics provider as active on RealVideoCreator.

If Real Labs introduces optional analytics cookies or similar device-access technologies, those technologies will be classified appropriately and consent will be obtained before use where applicable law requires it.

11. Advertising and Cross-Site Tracking

RealVideoCreator does not currently use cookies or similar technologies to:

• Build advertising profiles across unrelated websites;
• Serve cross-context behavioral advertisements;
• Retarget users on unrelated websites;
• Sell advertising audiences;
• Share browsing activity with advertising networks for cross-context behavioral advertising; or
• Operate personalized third-party advertising.

Real Labs does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in the Global Privacy Policy.

If these practices change, Real Labs will update the Privacy Policy and this Cookie Notice and provide any consent, opt-out, or preference mechanism required by applicable law.

12. Social Media Tracking

RealVideoCreator does not currently identify social-media advertising pixels or social-media behavioral tracking plugins as active tracking technologies.

A normal hyperlink to a social-media website does not by itself mean Real Labs intentionally operates that provider's advertising pixel.

If embedded social-media functionality is introduced and that functionality stores or accesses information on a user's device, Real Labs will evaluate and disclose the technology as required by applicable law.

13. VoiceLab and Cookies

VoiceLab's sensitive voice-processing architecture is separate from ordinary browser cookie functionality.

VoiceLab recordings, embeddings, feature vectors, templates, private voice profiles, and locally maintained voice models are not placed into ordinary browser cookies.

Under the current architecture, those materials are stored and processed inside the Real Labs-controlled IONOS production environment in the United States.

Browser security technologies may still be used when a user accesses VoiceLab, including:

• Authentication cookies;
• Session cookies;
• CSRF protections;
• Cloudflare Turnstile security technology; and
• Other essential account-security mechanisms.

These browser technologies do not ordinarily contain the user's underlying VoiceLab recording or reusable private voice model.

VoiceLab remains strictly 18+ and strictly self-voice only.

14. Legal Basis for Personal Information Associated With Cookies

Where cookies or similar technologies also involve personal-information processing, the legal basis depends on the technology, purpose, and applicable law.

Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar legal-basis requirements apply, Real Labs may rely as appropriate on:

• Performance of a contract;
• Legitimate interests;
• Compliance with legal obligations;
• Consent; or
• Another lawful basis permitted by applicable law.

The legal basis for processing personal information is separate from any requirement to obtain consent before storing information on or accessing information from a user's device.

Where applicable cookie or electronic-communications law independently requires prior consent, Real Labs will obtain that consent unless a lawful exception applies.

15. European Union and EEA Cookie Rules

Where applicable EU or EEA electronic-communications and privacy law applies, Real Labs will provide clear information concerning applicable cookies and similar technologies.

Technologies that require prior consent will not be intentionally activated before the required consent is obtained.

Technologies that qualify for an applicable strictly necessary or communications-related exception may operate without prior cookie consent where permitted by law.

Users will still receive information concerning applicable essential technologies through this notice.

Where consent is required, it will be requested through an affirmative action.

Merely continuing to browse RealVideoCreator will not be treated as consent where applicable law requires valid affirmative consent.

16. United Kingdom Storage and Access Technologies

Where United Kingdom Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations ("PECR") requirements apply, Real Labs treats cookies together with other relevant storage and access technologies.

These may include:

• Cookies;
• Local storage;
• Device storage;
• Tracking pixels;
• Similar scripts;
• Device-access technologies; and
• Other methods of storing information on or accessing information from a user's device.

Where a legally applicable exception applies, including for qualifying strictly necessary functionality, prior consent may not be required.

Authentication, account security, fraud prevention, and prevention of technical faults may qualify for an exception where the statutory requirements are satisfied.

Where no applicable exception applies, Real Labs will obtain the legally required prior consent.

17. Cookie Consent Interface

If RealVideoCreator uses any technology for which prior consent is required in a user's jurisdiction, Real Labs will provide an appropriate cookie or tracking preference mechanism.

Depending on applicable law and the technologies in use, this mechanism may provide options such as:

• Accept optional cookies;
• Reject optional cookies;
• Manage preferences;
• Enable analytics;
• Disable analytics;
• Enable optional functionality; or
• Withdraw previously given consent.

Strictly necessary technologies may remain enabled where applicable law permits them to operate without consent.

18. Equal Choice and No Forced Optional Tracking

Where applicable law requires freely given consent, Real Labs will not intentionally make optional advertising or analytics tracking a condition of accessing unrelated RealVideoCreator functionality unless legally permitted.

Where both acceptance and rejection choices are legally required, Real Labs will provide meaningful choices designed to avoid making rejection unnecessarily difficult.

Real Labs will not interpret inactivity, silence, or continued browsing as consent where an affirmative consent standard applies.

19. Withdrawal of Cookie Consent

Where optional cookies or similar technologies operate based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

Withdrawal will apply prospectively.

Real Labs will provide a mechanism for changing applicable preferences where required by law.

After withdrawal:

• Relevant optional technologies should be prevented from being newly activated where technically applicable;
• Existing cookies may need to be removed through the preference interface or browser controls; and
• Previously lawful processing is not made unlawful solely because consent was later withdrawn.

20. Cookie Preference Records

Real Labs may store a necessary cookie, browser-storage value, or server-side record indicating:

• Whether a cookie notice was displayed;
• Whether consent was given;
• Whether consent was rejected;
• Which optional categories were selected;
• When the preference was recorded; and
• The version of the applicable consent interface.

A privacy-preference cookie or equivalent technology may itself be necessary to remember the user's decision.

21. Browser Controls

Most browsers allow users to:

• View cookies;
• Delete cookies;
• Block cookies;
• Block third-party cookies;
• Clear browser storage;
• Restrict site permissions; or
• Use private-browsing modes.

Blocking all cookies may interfere with essential RealVideoCreator functions such as:

• Login;
• Account security;
• CSRF protection;
• Subscription access; or
• Other authenticated functionality.

Browser settings do not necessarily control every type of storage or access technology.

22. Global Privacy Control and Opt-Out Preference Signals

Certain privacy laws recognize browser or device-based opt-out preference signals for particular types of processing.

Where Real Labs is legally required to recognize a valid opt-out preference signal, Real Labs will honor the signal for the processing covered by that requirement.

As of the Effective Date, Real Labs states that it does not:

• Sell personal information;
• Share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; or
• Use personal information for targeted advertising across unrelated websites.

Accordingly, an opt-out signal may not result in a visible change where no covered sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising processing is occurring.

If Real Labs later begins covered processing, applicable opt-out signals will be handled as required by law.

23. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" or similar signal.

There is not one universally applicable technical or legal standard governing every Do Not Track signal in every jurisdiction.

Real Labs nevertheless limits tracking as described in this notice and will honor legally recognized universal opt-out mechanisms where applicable.

24. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Laws

Where the California Consumer Privacy Act or another applicable U.S. state privacy law applies, cookies or similar technologies may constitute or collect personal information.

Applicable rights may include rights concerning:

• Access;
• Deletion;
• Correction;
• Sale;
• Sharing;
• Targeted advertising;
• Sensitive personal information;
• Profiling; or
• Universal opt-out signals.

As of the Effective Date:

Real Labs does not sell personal information.

Real Labs does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Real Labs will provide legally required preference mechanisms if covered practices are introduced.

25. Canada

Where Canadian privacy law applies, Real Labs will use cookies and similar technologies in accordance with applicable requirements concerning:

• Meaningful consent;
• Appropriate purposes;
• Transparency;
• Limiting collection;
• Limiting use; and
• Safeguards.

Technologies necessary to provide or secure a requested service may be treated differently from optional tracking depending on the applicable law and circumstances.

26. Brazil

Where Brazil's LGPD or applicable Brazilian online-privacy requirements apply, personal information generated through cookies or similar technologies will be processed in accordance with the purposes and legal bases described in the Global Privacy Policy.

Where consent is required for a particular technology or processing activity, Real Labs will request consent in accordance with applicable law.

27. Australia and New Zealand

Where Australian or New Zealand privacy law applies, information collected through cookies or similar technologies will be handled in accordance with the Global Privacy Policy and applicable regional privacy requirements.

Real Labs will provide transparency concerning the purposes for which relevant device or browser information is collected and used.

International processing associated with providers such as Cloudflare and Google is described in the RealVideoCreator Service Providers, Subprocessors & Transfer Locations page.

28. Other Jurisdictions

RealVideoCreator may be accessed from jurisdictions not individually identified in this Cookie Notice.

The absence of a country-specific cookie section does not eliminate any mandatory privacy, electronic-communications, device-storage, consent, opt-out, or tracking right that applicable law provides.

Real Labs will apply mandatory local requirements where legally applicable.

29. Third-Party Technologies

Third-party providers may change the names, expiration periods, technical implementation, or behavior of cookies and similar technologies they operate.

Real Labs does not control every technical decision made independently by:

• Cloudflare;
• Google;
• PayPal; or
• Another third-party service.

Where Real Labs learns that a material third-party tracking disclosure is no longer accurate, Real Labs will update this notice within a reasonable period.

Users should also review the applicable provider's privacy or cookie information when interacting with a provider-controlled service.

Real Labs periodically reviews its production cookie and tracking inventory.

The Last Verified date indicates when this notice was last reviewed against the known production architecture.

The Last Verified date does not mean every third-party provider's entire global technical environment has been independently audited by Real Labs.

32. New Tracking Technologies

Before intentionally activating a new material tracking technology, Real Labs will evaluate:

• What information it collects;
• Whether it stores or accesses device information;
• Its purpose;
• Whether it involves personal information;
• Whether it involves sensitive information;
• Whether it is strictly necessary;
• Whether consent is required;
• Whether an opt-out is required;
• Whether it involves sale, sharing, or targeted advertising;
• Which provider receives information;
• International transfer implications; and
• Whether this Cookie Notice needs to be updated.

Where prior consent is legally required, the technology will not intentionally be activated before the applicable consent is obtained.

33. Changes to This Cookie Notice

Real Labs may update this Cookie Notice when:

• Cookies change;
• New technologies are introduced;
• Existing technologies are removed;
• Providers change;
• Purposes change;
• Consent rules change;
• Applicable law changes; or
• RealVideoCreator functionality changes.

The current version will display an updated Effective Date, Version, and Last Verified date.

Where a material change requires new consent, Real Labs will obtain that consent before relying on the changed processing where required by law.
